Originally from Sweden, Johan’s foundation was built in demanding cold-water environments, instilling discipline, adaptability, and uncompromising safety standards. He later expanded his career across the tropical waters of the Philippines, where he has spent two decades training and mentoring dive professionals at the highest level.
As a Course Director with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Johan has managed multiple 5-Star IDC Resorts and guided countless candidates toward successful, international careers. His programs blend structured excellence with real-world business insight, ensuring graduates leave not only as certified instructors — but as confident leaders in the dive industry.

With extensive experience within the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) system, Elly specializes in skill refinement, performance coaching, and presentation mastery. Her structured yet supportive approach ensures candidates develop confidence, clarity, and composure — both underwater and in the classroom.
Based in the vibrant diving hub of Bohol Elly is passionate about shaping professionals who embody the standards of a premium 5-Star dive environment. Her attention to detail and personalized mentorship ensure that every graduate represents quality, integrity, and confidence.

We at IDC Philippines are traveling the whole Visaya region of the Philippines and teaching IDCs in for now 5 gorgeous locations as you can see here below.
We are currently doing IDCs all year around in 5 different locations and are aiming in the near future to do even more. We are working together with other award winning PADI Course Directors. And we believe we can become even better with our strong relationship with our whole team.
We can now offer an extended range of languages such as Swedish, German, Dutch, French, Tagalog, Visaya, Cantonese, Mandarin and of course English. If you can’t find a IDC Center that can teach in your language please ask us, and we will do our best to make it happen for you.
Our facilities at all our locations include air conditioned classroom; computer based training aids, offsite/onsite pool or in some cases confined open water just in front of the shop. Beach side restaurants with free Wifi are also widely available on all our locations.
