PADI Course Director Camille Lemmens was Open Water certified  in 1994, became a PADI Instructor in 1999 and went on to become a PADI Course Director in 2003. Since than he has conducted over 100 PADI IDCs in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and South Korea. He conducted an IDC on Malapascua in February 2011 which was followed by the first ever PADI IE on Malapascua and in July 2011 he conducted the first ever Western IDC in South Korea.

Since it's introduction in 2006, Camille has received the Platinum rating from PADI, the highest rating a PADI Course Director can receive. A rating received by less than 57 of all PADI Course Directors worldwide in 2012 and even less that work for prestigious PADI CDC Center and PADI IDC Centers and Resorts. Early 2013 Camille received this rating for the 7th consecutive year running.

In 2009 Camille was awarded the PADI Instructor Development Award, "to better recognize the achievements of those PADI Dive Centres and Resorts who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of diving".

Camille is originally from the Netherlands and speaks fluent English and German besides his native Dutch.

In (April) 2003 he became a PADI Course Director at the CDTC in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia where he was trained by staff from the various PADI offices, like PADI America's, PADI Asia Pacific, PADI International and PADI Europe.

He has worked on more than 90 IDC programs, having conducted over 85 IDC programs as a Course Director since 2003 and he has taught more than 320 IDC candidates with a passing rate of 98%.  Alone in 2011 he conducted 16 PADI IDC programs and taught 59 IDC candidates during that year.

He can teach more than 20 Instructor Specialties, including Nitrox Specialty Instructor. He is also a DSAT Gas Blender Instructor Trainer, EFR IT, EFR Care for Children Instructor Trainer, PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Trainer and DAN O2 Instructor Trainer.

He has taught more than 1250 Specialty Instructor Training courses well over 450 Instructor level courses on various other levels such as IDCS, EFRI, EFR Care for Children and DAN O2.

Participating in an IDC or internship with Camille will give you a cutting edge on the competitive job market.

There are also other PADI Course Directors who gained experience as IDCS Instructors by working with him during his IDC's before they became PADI Course Directors themselves, including Craig Allery in Hong Kong, Ernst van der Poll in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Jean-François Joly in Canada, Chris Azab in Sharm el-Sheik in Egypt and Richard Reardon on Malapascua in the Philippines.

Chris F. Heim, a Swiss PADI Course Director, has been living in the Philippines since 1982. Chris is the founder and Instructional Manager of Sea Explorers Philippines.

Chris practically grew up in diving. Since he was a child, his main goal was to become a PADI Course Director. Chris is a great educator and he likes any kind of diving, especially the beautiful macro creatures here in the Philippines.

Chris became a PADI Instructor in 1987 and staffed many IDC`s prior to becoming certified as a Course Director in 1997. Since then, he has conducted more than 50 IDC programs in Southeast Asia.
