PADI IE in Moalboal in 2015

We are very happy to be able to announce that we can offer twice a PADI IE in Moalboal in 2015.  In September 2015 and November / December  2015 we have a PADI IE directly following the respective PADI IDC programs for those months.

It’s a good and positive achievement and shows that we are slowly but surely putting Moalboal on the PADI IDC and PADI IE map. It shows also that PADI is taking our efforts and hard work seriously and is supporting us this way. Next year in 2016 we hope to add even more PADI IE programs to our schedule.

Before you can participate in a PADI IE (Instructor Examination), you’ll need to have passed an IDC successfully. Once you pass the a PADI Instructor Examination (IE) you qualify for certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The PADI IE is conducted by a professional Instructor Examiner from the PADI Asia Pacific office, which ensures that the assessment is fair and objective.

During the PADI IE you will be tested on your general waterman-ship and diving skills, your academic knowledge and on your teaching presentations in the classroom as well as in confined and open water environments. In order to pass the PADI IE you will need to pass all four segments of the PADI IE.

There’s an escape hatch as well; In the unlikely event that you are unsuccessful in your initial PADI IE you are permitted to attend a second PADI IE, not less than 5 days or more than 1 year after the first IE at any location in the world.

So far we can boast a 100% success rate during all my PADI IDC’s  and PADI IE’s in the Philippines.

Just keep in mind that the application fees for the PADI IE are not included in the IDC course or package prices and are to be paid directly to PADI by credit card.
